I don’t know if you had a chance to read the press release, but I’ll be launching my book, 62 Posts to Overcome Blogger’s Block, in August. I don’t have an exact date at this time, but be on the look out.
Update on 62 Posts to Overcome Blogger’s Block
Book Design & Layout
I was blessed with designer Sabryna Washington, the creative mind behind Ingenuity7 Marketing Services. She is very professional and customer focused. Highly recommended. She was actually recommended by Small Biz Lady, Melinda Emerson, at Blogging While Brown Conference. (Divine connections are awesome).
Two testimonials have come through thus far. It feels great to know that other people care. I need two social media specialists from organizations to provide testimonials. I’ll be checking out my LinkedIn connections today.
Marketing & Promotion
I’ve been sending my press release to bloggers. Today, I’m going to send it to magazines. If you have any connections with book reviewers or editors, please let me know. Also, if you read magazines that have book reviews, let me know that, too. I’ll be checking out my LinkedIn connections for them, too.
Also, I was blessed before I started this post. I found this article, 19 Ways to Promote Your EBook, on Denise Wakeman’s site. This was actually a link on Twitter.
I’m trying to decide if I should put a sales page on this site or if I should create a site just for the book. I’m really considering a site just for 62 Posts to Overcome Blogger’s Block. Should I do both? What do you think?
Workbook to come!
Lastly, I’m working on a Blogger’s Block workbook to accompany my book. I will have a draft by the end of this week. My goal is to have this done by the book launch in August.
That’s all I have for now. Who knew that creating a book a book would require so much work?? It’s going to be worth it, though. Progress is a wonderful feeling.
