Do You Have Any Items You Need to Return to the Chicago Public Library?

Carrying Books

If so, here’s your chance to return them for FREE through September 7, 2012.

That’s right. You can return any items that belong to the Chicago Public Library – books, CDs, DVDs, LPs or cassette tapes (yes, I said cassette tapes) – without having to pay late fees. If you have lost books, you can pay for them without extra penalty.

If you look like this lady in the picture with ALL those books that belong to the library; run, don’t walk to do this. CPL has not offered amnesty in over 20 years, so take advantage of this opportunity. This is your chance to save a lot of money.

Remember, you can return books for free, but you do have to pay for lost books with no extra penalty through September 7, 2012.

This is also a chance for you to clean your house, clear your conscious  and give the Chicago Public Library system its books back.
